CAREER OPPORTUNITY – PROJECT SALES COORDINATOR

EUROCLAD ORGANISATION PROJECT SALES COORDINATOR
LOCATION – CARDIFF.

Objectives:

  • The ultimate aim of this role is to maximise sales by coordinating existing opportunities, developing future prospects and assisting both the Business Development and the External Sales Teams.
  • Existing opportunities will be in the form of web site enquiries, quotations issued, sample requests, requests for technical assistance and cross selling opportunities.
  • Future prospects will be discovered via early project identification which is necessary to allow a good chance of production specification, which in turn greatly improves the probability of a sale. Projects may be identified from marketing-generated enquiries, lead providers such as Barbour ABI, trade press research and referrals (eg. Elite Alliance partners). Also, our relationships with certain main contractors will give us early project opportunities that must be maximised.
  • This will be a key role in ensuring we achieve the maximum return from our activities and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute fully and effectively as part of a small, dedicated Business Development team.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • To manage a system for the effective monitoring of existing opportunities as listed above and to follow through their subsequent conversion into ‘Hot’ sales leads that can be converted by the sales force.
  • To use the PSA system for the progression of projects prior to transfer of ownership to the relevant sales team member.
  • To evaluate all information requests arising from the marketing programme and maximise the opportunities.
  • To assist the BD Manager in the attainment of new business targets.

Interaction:

  • Telephone contact with architects, main contractors, installers, public authorities, government departments and partners to verify nature and status of projects.
  • Liaison with Euroclad internal and external sales teams in the progress and handover of project leads.
  • To work closely with the PSA Administrator in maximising the efficient use of the database and other Marketing and Product managers in the generation of new enquiries.

Reporting: Directly to the Business Development Manager
