Colorcoat® Compass

Tata Steel has launched a unique and revolutionary colour system that easily and quickly navigates specifiers to the right Colorcoat® pre-finished steel product and shade for their metal roofing or wall cladding project. Colorcoat® Compass is the first system of its kind in the European building envelope market – and is available now.

Colorcoat® Compass is an innovative, all-encompassing digital system that works alongside a specially developed colour-measuring instrument to return a detailed colour scan. Almost any object can be scanned and the colour matched within seconds. Whether that’s another building material, a client’s corporate colours or maybe even a piece of fruit or your coffee cup for inspiration!

We’re proud of you Emmie

We are so proud of Emmie in our technical department, who recently decided to throw herself out of a plane…for a charity skydive that has so far raised a whopping £1165 for two charities very close to her heart.

Sadly Emmie lost her mother to cancer earlier this year, despite a tough fight. During that time Macmillan Cancer Support provided much needed and much appreciated care for her Mum and family in their time of need. To honour her mother’s wishes, show her appreciation to Macmillan and make a positive difference, Emmie decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support & Cancer Research Wales

Emmie said: “Before my mother passed away, she expressed that she really wanted us to donate money to charity, especially Macmillan. In her last hours, they were a comfort for both herself and my family. I can’t thank them enough.

“I did the skydive to raise money for these two great charities. I am ridiculously scared of heights so this was a huge achievement for me and I’m so thankful for everyone’s support in donations and sponsorships. A massive thank you to Euroclad for paying for the skydive itself.”

Cardiff Firewalk

Adam Rees, our Customer Service Manager for Euroclad Architectural and Booth Muirie, proved his mettle recently, by walking 20 feet across hot coals burning at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit!  That’s hotter than the melting point of aluminium.
The event was run by UK Firewalk and took place in Cardiff Bay on Saturday 16th April. Around 60 people took part in the charity event in aid of the Stroke Association, which was introduced by Scott Bell, who holds the world record for longest fire walk.

Adam raised £200, describing the day as: “A great event for a great charity. Slightly sore feet but well worth it!”

Innovation is our motivation

As a leading UK manufacturer of metal roof and wall products we can offer you unrivalled product choice, high quality manufacturing and comprehensive technical support.  Through a culture of innovation, new products are developed and existing products improved, in order to provide customers with the widest choice and best possible solutions.  Two recent manufacturing innovations include the introduction of two new rollforming machines; one for the SF500 Secret Fix roof profile and the other for 19/1000, the ubiquitous liner profile featured in the majority of Elite Systems.  These highly efficient machines will help us to continue to provide the reliable, fast and high quality manufacturing that is at the heart of our business.  The SF500 machine is up and running, whilst the new 19/1000 line is in the final stages of testing and calibration.
