sponsored charity bike ride in support of Parkinson’s uk.

Our Production Manager Anthony Berry has just completed the first of three gruelling bike rides in memory of his Grandfather, who suffered with Parkinson’s disease. Anthony has committed to support Parkinson’s UK by riding in various cycling sportive’s throughout the year. Anthony and his family have been involved with this charity for some time with the aim of raising awareness and funds so that one day we can discover a cure for this terrible illness.

Anthony has completed the first Sportive, the Carten 100 (Cardiff to Tenby), which covers 110 miles with a climb of 7000ft. Five riders started as a group and in the spirit of the event all five finished together in a time of seven and a half hours. Congratulations to Anthony and the rest of the team.

On behalf of Anthony I would like to ask you to support his efforts and contribute towards this noble endeavour and this wonderful charity.
If anyone would like to sponsor Anthony he would be very grateful. Every penny makes such a big difference. Just click the link below to Anthony’s just giving page.

In Anthony’s own words: “I apologise asking for money, but this charity really can make a difference, and having seen a loved one suffer for many years due to this illness, I really hope that one day we can find a cure. Thanks in advance for all your support.”

The remaining events that Anthony will be riding are:

7/6/15 Dragon ride 140 miles and 15000ft of climb
14/6/15 Velothon Wales 90 Miles and 6500ft of climb

If he can still walk after these then he assures me that he will be entering more throughout the year.
